Chapter 26

(Subtitle: Little Cousin)

Salvatore watched as Lander burnt the ear of his man.Wasn’t this boy just a kid? Why was he doing this, will he do the same thing to him

Salvatore was terrified, he couldn’t bear the thought of being tortured

He wanted to say something but he was gagged, even if he wasn’t, he couldn’t speak Greek and Lander didn’t understand Italian, so his situation was hopeless with no way out

“Hmmm smells nice, alright let’s cut this off and add some seasoning “ Lander muttered dropping the hair straightener and picking up a knife

The man’s ear was no looking like a perfectly grilled piece of meat

With the knife in hand, Lander approached  the man again, beads of sweat dripped down the man’s body, he was in excruciating pain but Lander wasn’t done with him yet 

With the knife, Lander cut the man’s ear off the side of his head onto a plate, he then proceeded to add some pepper and salt to the grilled ear 

“Hmm nothing better like freshly grilled human ear, right guys?” Lander chortled 

All three men watched Lander do his thing, frightened  to the bones

This wasn’t a normal kid, he was a demon!!, DEMON!!!

What was once an ear was now dry grilled. “Hey have a bite out of your ear, I’m sure it tastes good “ Lander stabbed the ear with a fork and offered it to the owner after un-tieing his mouth 

The man shook his head with his mouth clamped shut. How could he eat his own organ, his own flesh?

“Aww you don’t want it, ok maybe your friend will want it” Lander moved towards the man’s collogue who immediately rejected by shaking his head,  Lander moved to Salvatore 

“Don’t even think of refusing, you’ll regret it” Lander warned as he untied Salvatore’s mouth

“Let me go, I’ll give you money……you have to let me go what you’re doing is illegal…I’ll pay you if you let me go” Salvatore immediately tried to negotiate for his freedom the moment his mouth was untied

“Huh what are you saying… are you trying to refuse?… I told you not to” Lander was upset, he thought Salvatore was trying to refuse eating the meat

He made to grab a knife but quickly changed his mind, a broad grin spread across his cute face as he retreated from Salvatore as an incredible idea formed in his head

Salvatore sighed in relief seeing the boy move away, he thought the boy had agreed to his offer, but oh! How wrong he was.

Lander walked up to a shelf in the corner of the room and retrieved a meat grinder from the shelf, he grabbed a bigger knife and with both items in hand he walked back to Salvatore with that broad grin still on his face

‘Why was this boy coming back?’ Salvatore thought to himself, ‘what’s that in his hands?’. Salvatore’s eyes twitched with fear as his face turned ashen as Lander go closer

Without uttering a word, Lander bent down and ripped Salvatore’s trousers exposing his fat leg

“Hey kid what are you trying to do, let go… didn’t you hear me I said I’ll pay you to let me go…stoppp!”

“Urgh stop moving “Lander huffed. With the knife, he began cutting the skin and flesh off Salvatore’s leg

He carefully and skillfully  cut the leg in a neat line like he had done this many times. (well he has)

Blood dripped and flowed from the opening as Lander cut off a chunk of flesh from Salvatore’s leg

“Ahhhhhhhhhhhh my leg…curse you…..ahhhhhhhh” Salvatore cussed and screamed loudly in pain

Lander frowned hearing him scream. “Shut up you’re too noisy” he slapped Salvatore on the mouth to shut him up

Salvatore wanted to cuss again but Lander landed another slap on his mouth 

“You son of a bitch…punk….bargh…..” Salvatore was cussing when Lander suddenly shoved the grilled ear into his mouth

“Shut up if you scream again I’ll stab you with this knife in the eye, you want that?” Lander raised the knife threateningly 

Salvatore didn’t understand what the boy had said but that knife the boy held and the horrific things he had done was enough for him to know not to say another word

He  had no choice but to shut up and chew the meat as he sweat, tears and mucus dripped down his face

Though the meat tasted pretty good and delicious 

“I’ll be leaving now to make y’all some food, you better behave yourselves” Lander warned picked up the chunk of Salvatore’s flesh, put it into the meat grinder before leaving the room

A little while later on the same day:

A luxurious car pulled into the underground parking lot of Landers apartment and mancave

The car door was opened and a dark figure with legs that seem to stretch for miles stepped out if the car carrying with him an icy cold aura that could make a grown man knees weaken with fear 

His sexy eyes narrowed dangerously looking like they could see through a persons soul. With each step he took , his body screamed of wealth and nobility 

He walked into the elevator with Jesse Lee trailing behind him. After pressing the button to Lander’s apartment floor, Jesse Lee stuck himself to a corner of the elevator..too afraid to anger the man beside him

The air in the elevator was tensed and the moment the elevator doors opened, Jesse walked ahead of Adrastos to ring the door bell of Lander’s apartment 

“Coming” camera voice from the inside of the apartment 

Soon Lander opened the door dressed in a pair of sweats. His face lit up with a smile on seeing the stone faced Adrastos behind Jesse Lee

“Uncle you came, I missed you” Lander pounced onto Adrastos, giving him a hug, while Jesse Lee’s heart almost jumped out of his throat 

‘Kid can’t you see boss is in a bad mood, how could you hug him’

Contrary to his fears, Adrastos didn’t push Lander away and instead patted the boy on the head 

“Hmm where are they” the ‘they’ referred to Salvatore and his men.

“They’re downstairs I’m making them something to eat, come in uncle” Lander replied as he tugged on Adrastos sleeve pulling him into the apartment 

“What are you making?” Adrastos inquired as he sat on a sofa 

“Spaghetti and meatballs, I cut some meat off the fat one’s leg” Lander yelled from the kitchen 

“Smells good” Adrastos nodded

Jesse Lee almost puked blood. ’Human flesh was literally being cooked in a pan and these two were discussing it like it was a casual thing’.

‘Ah forget  it, he’s supposed to be used to these two weirdos and their behavior by now’

Minutes later

The trio left Landers apartment and were headed for his man cave. In Lander’s hand was a tray on which a big plate of spaghetti and meat balls made from Salvatore’s flesh was dished

“Morning boss” the guards stationed at the man cave entrance greeted as they opened the door to let the trio in

Inside, Salvatore and his men were fast asleep, exhausted from the torture they had gone through

Salvatore was exceptionally weak as his leg had been cut open and hasn’t been treated 

“Wake them up and call a doctor to treat their wounds”  Adrastos ordered 

“Huh uncle are you going soft on them” Lander asked 

“Never the fat one could die at any moment, he won’t die without first receiving the retribution of what he has done “ Adrastos dark eyes were filled with killing intent

Lander nodded in understanding while Jesse Lee shivered. ’His boss was ruthless’

Lander placed the plate of food on a table and pressed a button on the wall. The ceiling of the room opened revealing several water pipes and taps

Lander turned the water heater to the highest before turning on the taps

Boiling hot water fell from the ceiling onto the men below. They all woke up screaming as the hot water burned their skin and already hurting wounds

“Ahhh too hot…stop it …..it’s burning me Ahhhh” 

Salvatore screamed and shrieked loudly like a pig

“Don’t stop until their skin turns red “ Adrastos said to lander before walking out of the room with Jesse Lee following after him.

Just as they stepped out of the room, Adrastos phone rang with a call. Old Mr Zaveles was calling

Adrastos picked the call 

“Grandson where are you?, I heard you’ve found the scums who took my granddaughter-in law, is that true” Old Mr Zaveles asked from the other side of the line

“Yes”

“That’s good, don’t show any mercy, deal with them till they regret their existence on this planet, and make sure to get Giovanna’s current location from them, who knows what terrible things could be happening to her right now, get justice for my granddaughter-in law”

“I will grandfather “

Old Mr Zaveles hung up after hearing Adrastos reply. Adrastos shoved the phone into his pants pocket before turning around and walking back to the man cave

“Where’s Giovanna, where did you take her” Adrastos asked in Italian 

The water has been turned off and the men skin were now red and bruising in some areas, the men were uttering words of pleas to Lander before Adrastos walked in

“Who..who are you” Salvatore asked between heavy breath

“Lander don’t bother calling the doctor, deal with him in the most painful method you can, until he’s ready to talk” Adrastos ordered 

“Okay but the doctor is already on his way “

“Then torture him cruelly before the doctor gets here, only stop when he’s ready to talk”

“Okay” Lander picked up a pair of protection hand gloves as he picked up a tin container filled with acid and walked towards Salvatore with it

Without hesitation, Lander emptied the acid from the tin onto Salvatore’s legs 

“Ahhhhhhhhhhhhh” Salvatore let out a blood curling scream as the flesh on his leg dissolved with the acid

“Please stop ahhh”

“Are you ready to talk” Adrastos asked 

“Yes I’ll talk…..I’ll tell you anything…anything at all just stop please” Salvatore pleaded with tears rolling down his cheeks

Adrastos gestured for Lander to stop before asking “Where’s Giovanna?”

“I sold her”

“To who”

“To Vasilliki Andonis the genius doctor “ Salvatore breathed heavily as he talked. Half of the flesh on his right leg was gone leaving his bone bare 

It was a gut wrenching sight, with the thick smell of blood floating in the air 

“So Giovanna is currently with Vasiliki, where is he now at?” 

“I don’t know, we made the deal on his yacht, he probably already left the harbor, that’s all I know… please don’t torture me anymore “ Salvatore had never felt such an intense pain in his life, he hadn’t even been shot by a gun not to talk of being tortured 

It felt worse than hell

But hold on, who was this noble looking man interrogating him, why was he having him tortured, what was his relationship with Giovanna and why did he care so much

He couldn’t help himself and asked the question “Who are you?” 

“Giovanna’s husband Adrastos Zaveles “ with those words, Adrastos turned and left the room

Adrastos Zaveles! The current head of the most powerful family in Greece

How come he’s married to Giovanna, when they get married, how come he didn’t know about this

Salvatore’s already pale face turned even more pose

How much bad karma had he accumulated for him to be so unfortunate to offend such a powerful person

Was there a way for him to escape? Absolutely not!

“Let continue having fun “ Lander announced bringing out more torture weapons

Outside the man cave

“Jesse find out my cousin’s  current location, when you do get the jet ready and clear my schedule for the next month” Adrastos instructed Jesse Lee as they walked back to the car

“Why so sudden boss, the madam has not yet been found” Jesse Lee asked (Jesse refers to Giovanna as madam)

“The pig sold my Giovanna to Vasilliki” 

“Mr Vasilliki bought the madam? Okay boss I’ll be quick with it” Jesse Lee nodded

Vasilliki Andonis was Adrastos cousin from his mothers side, separated by a few years

The cousins were so similar in looks and high IQs but also very different in personality, behaviors, and auras

Adrastos had a mature mind and noble aura, he was cold and he always kept people at arms length but still attracted their attention. He was a business genius

 While Vasilliki had an impulsive personality and a dangerously sexy face. He like doing things his own way and never like following the rules, he was too lazy to appear at social gatherings and preferred being on his private island doing research. He was a medical genius 

And now both cousins were involved with one little woman

Adrastos hopped to get to his cousin before he lays his hand on Giovanna but will he get there in time
